My 10 year old son wanted to break out an MRE for lunch.

Hit up the "Original" Black's in New Braunfels for lunch. Double meat sandwich and tater salad. The wife had chicken and mac n cheese. With fast food combos hitting +$12/person, I'll gladly pay a couple bucks more for the good stuff.

A fyi.. get the app hooked. It’s only for college towns and they great food specials. Saying that. Blacks bbq in San Marcos post food stuff on there all the time. I usually get the 5$ special they post. Saving you 4$. It’s not a bad deal, but only in the San Marcos location.

I wouldn't give my dogs the MREs I was given at Camp Shelby a few months ago.

Was in Walmart earlier. Got 4 fried chicken thighs from their deli, they are as good or better than some of the chicken places. At home made mashed potatoes and gravy and had some rolls.
Supper will be the same.

Had a party for my Dad’s birthday. grilled 14 ribeyes, 1 rack of ribs and smoked 3planks of salmon.

Tuna on multi grain wheat and cheetos.

I took some buckboard bacon & diced it up a rendered it until it started to caramelize. On top of that I made cheese grits with the last American cheese I had, added onion powder garlic powder Cholula and the last bit of red eyed gravy I made the other day. I washed it down with a Coke.
