Flight tests conducted by the Defense Advanced Research Agency, the U.S. Air Force and their industry partners have demonstrated safe and effective employment of an autonomous fighter jet, including in “nose-to-nose” dogfighting against a human F-16 pilot, according to officials.

What if they decide to stop fighting and band together?

How about a nice game of chess? Once we start using robots to do all of our fighting, there is no incentive not to go to war. Except for total nuclear destruction, and the robots will be making that decision too. What have they got to lose?
