Default Republican Gun Owners Task Force

Anyone else receive a mailing from the Republican Gun Owners Task Force? It contains a Census for American Gun Owners and a letter from John Cornyn. It is sponsored by the National Republican Senatorial Committee and states that it is a grass roots effort to protect gun rights for Americans. It is basically asking for a donation to help promote gun rights and fight the democratic effort to ban guns. Just curious if anyone other than me received it and knows anything about it. Seems legit and if so could be something to look into. Looks like an effort to increase the number of republiocan senators in the upcoming elections as well. Here is a link to the web site that is on the forms:

I would contact Senator Cornyn's office and ask

Tell you're sending money to Geithner's ilk. If Timmy is good enough for Cornyn's vote, he's good enough for your money.

I'd rather extend my NRA or TSRA membership.
