Was wondering with the continuing growth if the managment had considered maybe creating some subforums for specific areas (i.e. north Texas, south Texas, central Texas, etc) or city/area specific (Houston, DFW, Austin, SA, etc.). Was thinking it would help focus goings on and get togethers and general info sharing specific to those areas.

Possibly in the future. We are growing and getting bigger, but I don't want to expand too soon. What tends to happen is everyone from one area just dogpiles into that forum and never leaves it.
Maybe we'll try it out soon, but we simply don't have enough people for the Austin, San Antonio, and other regions. Houston has the largest group, followed by the DFW group. |

The problem with regional sections is that it will split up the group as a whole and that is part of what TGT is all about. We are already regional and Texas is our region. I can see where regional activity sections would be good once the membership grows.
