Default Silencerco Osprey &Sparrow Demonstration at the Impact Zone today

EDITED: Video uploaded:

YouTube - 2009 11 6 SilencerCo, Inc Osprey Demo at the Impact Zone

If I did a trust for you, you should have recieved the invite yesterday. If you are on Facebook and connected to my account, you should have received notice of the demo shoot.

Josh, the owner of Silencerco, was in town this weekend from Utah and was kind enough to bring his hearing safe Osprey and his little sparrow cans to the Impact Zone so everyone could check them out.

You might ask . . . what is special about the Osprey? Its the second hearing safe DRY .45acp suppressor for pistols on teh market. One of two (the AAC TiRant being the other.

It is quite compared to the EVO-45. It doesn't make your ears rigng.

Anyway, I like the can. It is innovative and its well sorted out. I can't wait to compare it to the AAC TiRant.

Thanks for the invite yesterday Sean.
Thx to Josh for letting us shoot his guns.
It was a very good demostration of the the suppressors that Josh, the owner of Silencerco have came up with.
I really liked the ease of disassembly and cleaning of the Sparrow can.
Now the Osprey, It was just somwthing else. SUPER QUITE and not weighing to much either. Very nice price at $850.00 - I believe that it is what Josh said it will be selling for.

Now - lets see the video of the SAW

and as alway's - Thanks to Phil for the use of his Facility "The Impact Zone"

Wonder how long it will take to get to AR15.com's Silencerco thread.

Nice vid! That Osprey sounds pretty darn quiet, and I personally think it looks pretty cool! Hmm, I'm going to have to consider one of those for the future. Thanks for the thread and details Sean.

Looks like Silencerco has a nice littel design there. Did they give any idea of release date or cost?

In the POST above I put the cost of $850 & I think they are good to go with inventory.
SC-Texas can probally help you out on obtaining one of those bad boy's.
