    Default What's it all mean?

Copy on the form 3 is dated 07/24/08. I just spoke with the NFA registry and they stated pending as of 08/5/08. This is on the out of state dealer to my in state dealer transfer of my H&K51.

Not as bad as the $300.00 deposit I put on a YHM.40 Cobra suppressor back on 07/07/08 that still aint in stock to start the paper work.

Default NFA branch is slowing down

I called today and was told to expect a six week wait from when the check is cashed to when the transfer is "entered" into the system. This is entered into the system and not approved which could take a while once it is given to the examiner. Things are slowing down a great deal. I suspect people are getting worried about changes in the law after the election.

Regarding the dates on your paperwork a lag is common.

Waiting on a few personal transfers myself,
    Chris

Default Trust Transfers and Time to Approve

    All.
would there be any time difference in the NFA approving a Trust Transfer vs a standard type?
If I get lucky with my belt fed seach, I think I want to do it on a trust.

One of my problems is everthing I've bought is out of state. Getting it here to start my paper work is part of the problem. BATFE like any other part of the government moves at a speed that the care to.
