Since I asked for this forum, I guess I have to start the ball rolling.

First, a big round of applause for TSRA, for their continuing efforts on our behalf, and to Alice Tripp for her tireless efforts with the (often cantankerous) Texas Legislature.


I would like to take this opportunity to invite all shooters to the Comanche Valley Vigilante club's annual shoot "SHOWDOWN', to be held the last weekend of August.
Plenty of tent and "self-contained" RV parking, and some with Electric hookups.

This will be a 2 day cumulative shoot, with 5 stages Saturday, then side matches, and the final 5 on Sunday. Again-details on their website.

Howdy, Oso! I saw your post over on the SASS wire, and thought I'd come on by and check out this board. I wasn't aware there was a Texas general purpose gun board on the Internet.

I was planning on making Showdown. I shot it last year and had a ball. Unfortunately, I just spent $800 fixin' Lorelei's car, so I have to cut back for a while. Maybe next year......

And I thought Goody was beyond hope......
