Im in North Dallas and want to find somewhere that either serves or sells game meat.
I want to try a few so i can decide what I want to go hunt. About the most out of the ordinary that I have tried is Buffalo and Deer. I would really like to find some Elk, Caribou, Antelope etc. Anyone have any reccomendations on what is the best eating?????? THanks Josh |

Can't help you, but, how did you like buffalo meat? I found it drier and less flavorful than fattier beef.

You are in Plano, go to Ye Ole Butcher shop in old downtown. Here is the rundown on their burgers:
Monday = wild hog burgers Tues = deer burgers Wed = elk burgers Thurs = buffalo burgers Fri = Ribeyes & fries. You can get regular beef burgers and buffalo burgers any day. For the others, be sure to stop in on the appropriate day of the week. Great butcher shop, he'll put his choice against others prime. Nice people. |

Don't know about Dallas, however you might take a look here in Fort Worth.

Fudruckers is serving some exotics lately. Strictly ground for burgers though. In Fort Worth there is Bonnell's. It's up scale but some nice menu items.
