PSE needs to stick with standard crossbows and not try to market to the AR15 market. Looks to me like there's alot of wasted material on the unit.

I just happen to have an extra assembled lower, and since my neck problems prevent me from shooting my beloved compound bow, this is an excellent option to be able to hunt during archery season. I am sure is is worth the price but I dont know if I would be willing to part with that much money for archery equipment.

Bow hunters are allowed an early start on deer season - does this thing count?

Everyone thinks that the PSE Tac 15 is overpriced, and no one has them in stock, they are special order from every dealer I've talked to. You also have to purchase special bolts for them at $90-1/2 dozen.

If you look at the top end crossbows you will see that a top of the line Tenpoint crossbow will run you around $1500,so the $1300 they want for this isn't too far out of line considering the power and speed that it has,and the ability to use your lower and whatever trigger setup you choose to have in your lower, plus the PSE unit can be taken down without a press and it will not dry fire according to the PSE promo video.
