Default p345 safety

I am aware of the potential prob's. of dry firing without a mag. installed but what is the prob of pulling the trigger with the safety on? never heard anything about this jim

It doesn't matter if there is a magazine in the gun or not.

Dry firing can potentially break the firing pin, this has nothing to do with the magazine.

The solution is to just buy a few snap caps and be done with it.

Default dry fire

I have pulled the trigger thru without dropping the hammer with the safety on and it is not supposed to drop the hammer mine does drop the hammer with the safety on allthough the firing pin is rolled to an inactive position have I possiblly caused an un forseen problem by doing this? jim
