    Default Texas FFL Transfer List

List your local FFL transfer people, their location, and the applicable fees. If they have any special requests then list it as well.

I have used Pasadena Gun Center in Pasadena, TX for several transfers and always been happy.

They charge 25 dollars per transfer and are very good about calling when its in and waiting until I have time to pick it up. I am sure there are cheaper transfer fees to be found, but these guys have always been good to me.

I am struggling for a reasonable FFL in Houston (SW)
I used to use Loan Star Pawn ~ they sold the business to Bayou Pawn and now won't accept any incoming.
Fountain Firearms advertised for $35 and wanted $48+ when I got there.
SOG Armory says they will do it but act like they don't want to and I can't get them to send the FFL info and they refuse to give it to me.
You would think that gun folk would unite more for the common cause rather that being so secretive and opportunistic. This ain't going to go on for ever and they shouldn't piss off the faithful for a fast buck.

I have used these people several times. They stopped for a while after Ike but I talked to them today and they are again making transfers. I paid $20 the first time I used them, and each time afterwards, the charge was $10.

He doesn't have a store front and only does transfers. $27.00.
I've had 2 transfers with him so far, and they were both great.

Not in the area you are looking for but just in case. Memorial Shooting Center does transfers for $30.00. The person sending the firearm has to call them. Then they will fax their FFL to them. They will not give you a copy.

Transferring firearms was better with the previous management at that place.

Become a FFL dealer it cost $150.00 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Firearms_License

Everyone is charging $35.00 and they give you a hard time with the paper work too, they want you to buy the gun from them. But it's kinda hard to buy a gun from them if they don't have it in stock.
