Default Browning 1911 in .22 LR

Browning is releasing a new .22 LR pistol modeled in the 1911 frame. It's not a full sized gun, but it has the same functionality. I kinda like it!

Cool, but I also wonder what it's gonna cost 'cause as neat as it may be, it's still a .22!

    Cheers! M2

I have seen a couple sites taking pre orders for them at the price of $549.00, with them starting to ship in Jan/Feb 2011. Kind of high but with the quality that Browning is known for it should be a great buy.

It's a pretty nice gun ... a bit higher than what I'd want to pay, but it's not bad.

It would make a nice little training pistol.

What makes you say it's not full size? Everything i've seen says it's about the same size as a 5" 1911.
I'd be a lot more interested if someone came out with a 3/4 scale 1911
