They went out and bought Sigs, 1911s and Glocks for themselves and the Mk23s sat in the armories for the most part. |

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "mag safety" and a "mag disconnect"? Are those other names for a heel mag release? If it is then those were on all of the original European SIG pistols and the early US imports. As a matter of fact if I recall correctly SIG originally called the models with side button mag releases an "American".
BTW I went from owning no SIGs 6 months ago to owning 3 (.40 P229, 9mm P6, and .45 P245) and looking at more, possibly a 228 and a 220. So I guess I am a SIG fan (or nut). Last edited by wgsigs; 11-02-2009 at 09:42 PM. |

So, if there is still a round in the chamber, and you drop the mag, pulling the trigger will not fire. It's standard fare on High Powers, but easily disabled on those guns. The ones as mentioned on Sigs is an anomaly.

Hmm if it was an anomally then that would explain the price. I picked it up NIB almost exactly a year ago from CDNN. It was SS, Night Sights, with Houge grips, NIB with a holster cost $699.00 out the door.
