Nice looking, but kinda makes it a safe queen doesn't it? Brushed crome is the way to go.

let me know what you think
Well, you asked so I think that was a week of your time wasted. I also think it makes it looks cheap. Just when I though a Glock couldn't get any uglier (and I'm actually not a Glock hater as I own 3). But hey, who I am to say anything about it....as long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Pimp my Glock!

Just kinding, looks nice. My Glock pimp has one that he has done like that using a parts kit from Lone Wolf or someone that also replaces all the pins, rear plate, guide rod, and take down with gold plated pieces and had the slide plated as well.

Looks nice, but how does it hold up after firing a bunch of rounds, does the burned powder destroy the chrome coating?

great job on the polishing, looks good....

i have done the same on my para p14, and my ruger p94, i need to redo the black finish on the p94, but it looks good...

any more details for the others that don't know what you did and how you accomplished it would be great...

No it holds up like a beast. I thought the same thing that it might stain or whatever. so I took it to the range and sure enough I freaked out cuz it had some dark spots on the tip of the slide and barrel.
just got a rag and it came right off.
ive never had to re-polish it either.
holds up great!
