Another case where punctuation will help a lot! I'm not sure what you're saying, unless you're trying to post pics and haven't successfully been able to yet?

My cheap 1911 by Rock Island. :D The only mods so far is the removal of the ambi safety, and the PITA FLGR, some Esmeralda's grips, Pearce finger groove inserts, Wolff 16# recoil spring, and an EGW firing pin stop. It is my first 1911, but shore as the world won't be my last. My next one will be a custom build. Caspian Recon frame with a Damascas slide, still working on the funds for that one!

A guy locally says that they are fine, nothing wrong with them. A really good friend of mine is planning on buying one. About a week ago I saw one priced at around $440 (I think). Now that you have one, what do you think about it? How does it shoot? Accurate? Dependable? Is it picky with ammo?

For the most part I don't like guns that are too flashy, I usually go for blued pistols, but that one really looks nice! I see why you like it. That might be my favorite pistol if I had one!
