Looking good Mac, the contrast looks nice. Also don't see too many colored 1911's.

NICE guns! Nice pics too. Here is one of my 1911's, a 5" full size Wilson Classic in .45 ACP with S&A magwell and grips by Esmeralda. What do I like about it? What's not to like about it? I think it's beautiful and it shoots the center out of targets.

Good shooting and be safe.

Ooo... nice.

Would you suggest the front checkering texture to someone that didn't have it? I've heard from Wilson, and some others, that it was easy to live without it.

Checkering is all up to he shooter. You can do without, and use some 3M grip tape instead. I do, it works well, andcomes off clean.

Thought they were from her. She makes some of the prettiest grips I've seen.

Everyone has an opinion and opinions vary. For me, the front strap checkering is REQUIRED. I learned in competition shooting that most of the grip on a 1911 should be applied to the front strap and rear strap. That checkering really helps keep my grip stabilized and a consistent grip is the first fundamental in accurate pistol shooting. Then comes sight alignment and trigger control.

Good shooting and be safe.

I love my US&S 1911a1s. Dont know why, but they appeal to me.

No pics though, they're in museum glass vault.

Nice Wilson LHB1! That's one of the best looking ones I've ever seen and the grips are a nice touch. Man Esmeralda makes some nice grips, not to mention she is hot!

Nice Kimber S0758.
