By the time I retire there will be more folks here speaking Spanish than English. A friend told me when he retires hes gonna keep heading North until he finds a place where nobody can speak any Spanish.

He figured that area would be good for another 10 years before all the illegals figure out it is there and invade.

Policemen. Yes, if you came from another nation and intend to live here, you should learn English and use it, period. The state of Texas gives the Operators License written test in Spanish if requested, likely another liberal, nanny state regulation.

I doubt if other nations give DR writtens in English when their populations speak another language ?

I personally think Spanish is a beautiful language, I do fair in its use and am able to converse with friends and neighbors who either have not been here long enough to speak "Texian" or too old to learn. Methinks this whole affair is about two bit ambulance and lawsuit chasing lawyers and Hispanics who want all of the benefits of America but want to remain "pobricito peones" (Poor hairless ones).
