Didn't. Have worked with officers who did those kinds of stops. You know the 1% of the officers who give the other 99% a bad image. The ones that call for back up and have five patrol cars surrounding the suspect vehicle tying up every officer on the shift and leaving the city unprotected for an hour while they search and find nothing.

You know the ones with the attitude like the one you show in your post.

Just f****n' stupid. Nothing says bad ass drug lord like the FURY of the .380. I wonder how long its going to be before the pearl handled, mirror finsh with gold accents and intricate carvings edition is going to come out...

I guess you could make the argument that a sig sauer, from Germany is connected by some form of land to china, which manufacturs the AK's and ships them to the drug cartels. . . .

I can see how they could get confused.

People who have nothing to hide generally get charged with something. A lawyer once told me that they know who is guilty and who is innocent, a guilty person won't talk and an innocent person won't shut up. So if you get a visit by people wanting you to explain legal purchases demand a warrant, you are not being a bad person you are being a free American acting within your rights.

Really? What department d'ya work for? Generally speakin', that kinda cop makes a call like that *one* time - period. His peers take care of things from there. THEY don't like those kinda call either - *if* what you say is true.

I'm not sure what you mean by the last part... I will say that a lot of cops I know have summed it up thus: a lot of people talk themselves into handcuffs, but nobody they've seen has been able to talk their way out of them.

When dealing with the police, your best bet is to STFU.

Do your talking in court ... and I don't actually mean YOU, I mean your lawyer.

Medium sized town in the panhandle, home town boy, family friends of the chief, always assigned to a single man unit (mainly because no one wanted to work with him), could do no wrong.

(Remember the Right wing "Terrorist" advisory issued earlier in the year)

And no I am not anti-cop. I've done my time in a patrol car. I am anti abuse of power and the principle of guilty until proven innocent.
Considering your follow up replies to questions about that statement, how much credibility would you think you have left?

AH but you don't get it, it happens every day, everywhere. You must be one of them thar "sheeple" that won't see the truth or the black suits and dark glasses. It's true 'cause people say they think it does.

Open your eyes man, there out there, everywhere, and there after us!
We need to find a good foil hat, scary story telling smiley!
