I was leaning toward McCain and then he chose that n00b. How would that rookie who's stand up to a Putin or Chavez? Did the Republicants feel left behind that there were two boobs on the Democrat ticket, so they needed to add two boobs to their offering?

I am bitterly disappointed in our choices. Come election day, I may choose to take poison instead. America...we get the kind of government we deserve.

It has more to do with the quality of the character than experience.

Hell, one of the best President's we've ever had was a Hollywood film star.

People need to remember that the President has a hand-chosen support staff beneath every decision. Inexperience is one thing that can quickly be overcome.

I'm of the firm belief that she may have hand wrestled a Polar Bear. That alone makes her qualified in my books. Besides, if all else fails, we can just knock them out with her stunning good looks, and kick 'em in the baby maker when they aren't looking...

In all seriousness, though: To her (and unfortunately Obama's) credit, there isn't many night classes on this stuff. I mean, I know where I went to school my Poli Sci department didn't offer "President of the USA 101". Everyone is a n00b at first, so "Presidential Experience" is a poor argument. And Texas1911 is exactly right. There is a hand picked cabinet of advisors who all are surely promied to be qualified in one way or another to help everything get done. There are better choices if all they wanted was a vagina on the ticket. So I am convinced McCain knew what he was doing.

Besides, again, shes from Alaska. ALASKA. They have Polar Bears and Moose that eat Volkswagens. ALASKA!

Either way, there is alot of face-value idiocy abound in the race. Probably because the voting basis of this country is shallow in thought. They vote for shiny objects, not because they believe or understand what the person is about.

Obama being black adds spin, Palin being a women adds spin. Obama had to go for experienced old white dude, and McCain had to get someone that could add something beyond the experienced old white dude.

This ought to be a wild ride.
