this would be a great opportunity to take you kids out and teach them something. i personally dont have any children but if i did i would take my kids fishing or to the range for the day, this way they would be learning something useful or at the very least create a fond memory with their parents.

They didn't show it in Red Oak. My kids were hoping for a day off.

I didn't see anything wrong with the speech when I read the transcript. If he had released the transcript a week before, there wouldn't have been many complaints. The fact that he kept us all in the dark until the evening before the show, makes me think that that wasn't his original speech content.

One good thing came out of this. My 7 year old doesn't think much of 0bama now, since he found out that Dad doesn't like his politics. My older boys already knew.
As far as I'm concerned, today is Veteran's Day. Thank you.

i dunno about all of Midland Independent School District, but where I go, Midland High School, they showed it at the beginning of lunch in the auditorium, so anyone who wanted to watch that crap, could.

Personally I didn't have an issue with Obama wanting to talk to kids. He wants to talk to them, fine, go for it.

What got to me was the lesson plans being sent out with it, especially the "how do you think you can help Obama". If I had a child, I would have told him/her I would boost their allowance that week if they wrote "Help him read the Constitution".
