What is this world coming to?
Jobless rate is 9.8% (adjusted rate) but is probably closer to 20%...
Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize... And now General Motors sells the rights of Hummer to the Chinese... You know, I never bought much into the 'END of DAYS', '2012' bullshit, but to hear and read about what the prophets and scholars have been talking about for so many years, I think that we're all screwed... Rock on!  Brad L.

Yes, you're right, but... I dont know if America as a country can wait another three years for another great POTUS to come along. Unfortunately, the groundwork that the Dems are laying down is going to be tough, to say the least, to rebuild over. In three years it will be time to bring in the bulldozers and heavy machinery, tear it down, repave, and rebuild. And three years seems like a long time for Americans to suffer under Obama's reign.
I am one of those '9.8%' that are unemployed, and I cannot find a job, at least not a skilled one. Hell, I have even applied at McDonalds, BK, and all of the other fast food places, convience stores, everything, anything, and there's nothing. I am not saying that I wont go out and dig ditches or some other form of manual labor, but there is nothing, at least not here, and I dont have the funds to relocate, and I am tired of arguing with the wife about the need to move, but her defense, 'We're already settled here." And truthfully, I dont want to move, I love where I am, I know my neighbors, the children have their friends, and its one reason that I got out of the military, so that my family could settle. Maybe its just easier to blame Obama, but I dont know what else to do. I've bitched enough... .......

Wichita Falls... There is nothing here. Nothing... No machinist, electrician but some mechanic jobs, but unfortunately, i sold all of my tools a few years back to feed the kids. The only other option is health care or police department, and my application was accepted for the PD but I have to wait until Nov for the interview and physical test, and I am not one to wait... Or go back to school to be a nurse, which I am not looking foward to, but it beats sitting around the house all day long...

That sucks.
 Look into jobs doing security, the hours and pay will likely suck but you never know you might like the job. In a bad economy the need for security officers goes up because crime goes up and folks want there stuff protected. Good luck I hope you find something soon.
