Liberals and their hatred of the military
Why in the hell do the Democrats/liberals have such a hatred for the Department of Defense? They won't ever cut federal spending in education, welfare, HUD, wherever, but defense is always a big target? Now we've got Obama targeting defense spending when he's throwing money around, literally, by the trillions! It's insane! And to top it all off, Democrats have historically used the military more than Republicans ever have. Two examples:
The Vietnam War was started by a Democrat, then vastly enlarged by a Democrat, but finally ended by a Republican. All at a cost of trillions in adjusted dollars. Oh, and let's not forget the famous chant, "Mr. Nixon's war." Yah, right....   Bill Clinton deployed the U.S. military a greater number of times (21) overseas than any other President in history. (As a side note, his daughter, Chelsea, was quoted on two occasions saying, "My family hates the military.") And to add insult to injury, when Democrats do deploy U.S. forces they can't help but play general from the Oval Office with disastrous consequences (ie., Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton). It just drives me nuts that they hate the military so much, when all the military does is serve at the civilian government's whim. Rant over...I feel better now....

Most hate anything manly. I have a liberal uncle that refers to football as a combat sport. Both his boys are total homos.

Geez, the whole reason sports came into being was typically as a way to either show prowess at hunting and warring, or to teach and hone skills for those purposes.

The coalition of liberals have always appeared to me a loose knit party united in unhappiness and hatred. Look at who they are:
Feminists Gays Abortionists Animal Rights Green movement Welfare bleeders Self appointed minority rights leaders Unions Etc Etc Can you picture any of these folks smiling at contentment and prosperity?

You know, I also had this relevant afterthought. Ever notice too how the news media always...and I mean always...fixes a price to everything in the military? "The 200 million dollar F-22...the 2 billion dollar Virginia class submarine...the 500 million dollar operation...." Blah, blah, blah,
 . Why don't they do that next time Hillary Clinton steps off the government jet in one of the Stans? "S.O.S. Clinton descended the stairs of the 200 million dollar 767..."Anuses...........
