Yes i am new here The very first question I asked High-Cap 1911 came back to me and lied about how many post you had to have before you cold post a gun on here> I don't know about this place seems like they do not like newbies here afraid we will get in on some good deals?

first off i was going off some older information, that the minimum number of post's USED to be 50 it has nothing to do with you or how you think we don't like you, it was some older info i searched and didn't see it had been lowered.

if you think i don't like you because of your user name, or your location, then you are SADLY mistaken. i don't know you from any other person here, why would i as you so succinctly put it, LIE to you.

it doesn't matter your good/bad/indifferent intentions on here, we have had issues in the past, and the post counts are in place for a reason, the fact that it WAS 50 at one time, and i didn't realize that is was knocked down to 25 doesn't change the fact that the rules are the rules.


if you feel that i owe you an apology for me giving you a tad bit of wrong info then by all means i am sorry...

but, you should be a little happier that i was wrong and you don't have to go through all that extraneous posting to put your classified in... seems that you really want to sell or buy something.... what ever it is good luck.

First off, welcome. Secondly, he was not trying to lie to you. When the gun classifieds were re-opened, the original post count required was 50 posts in order to use that service. Alan (Texas1911) later lowered the requirement for those of you who have not had a chance to post on here as much yet. High-Cap was not lying to you, he probably just forgot that it was lowered. Relax, not everyone is out to get you. Sit down, read-up and post awhile, you might make some friends!

People like newbies here, but you can't hold everyone to exacting standards either. People make mistakes, there's no reason to make a thread calling people liars because of it. That would cause far more harm to your own image than being new.

Frankly, the internet requires some thicker skin than you're wearing. No one is out to get you, everyone has another opinion, but in the end if you don't let every little thing get to you you'll find that you'll fit right in.

We're all good people here.

The idea is to conversate with others and contribute to the forum with those 25. I have the ability to easily correct your post count if you just want to whore the forum so you can "steal the deals".
