Big C , I would mount it but I have 8" ceilings and it would wind up roughly 4' off the floor and I have two great danes that would just love a nice chew toy like that !
( truth is wife won't let me )

Also, get some good, strong rings with it. I don't know what kind of rings you've got your scope in now, but rings make all the difference in the world. Accuracy is nothing more than repeatability, and rock-solid rings is part of the equation when you're talking about a rifle. |

I try and stick with Leupold rings and bases if I can, the rings and bases and the scope are all Leupold right now.
