Default Change at Bracken Range

I went to Bracken Range this past week, and they have made some changes.

They added wooden boards that prevent you from shooting standing up on the pistol ranges (unless you want to shoot through the wood, or you are really short).

I'm not really happy with it, but whatever.

Sounds like time to find another range in my not so humble opinion.

Tired of your guns? Vote Democrat.

Change is also what Germany was looking for in 1932

why would you want to shoot a pistol sitting down...

i mean, unless you have a scope or reflex sight you need to sight in or test.

LOL, sounds like someone made a bonehead move. You might ask them why they did that and if they plan to fix it.

Time to find a new range or get your legs sawed off.

Just shoot through the wood until it isn't in your way anymore.

I talked to the owner, and evidentially someone's window got busted a bit less than a mile down the road. The way some peple shoot at that place, it wouldn't supprise me if it did. (the wife told me this, the husband told me that I could shoot easily with a "combat stance" of being hunched over. . .kind of funny)

I have found that I can shoot standing . . .barely. I'm a solid 5'9" I don't think my dad or my brothers could shoot here though (they are 6'2" and 6')

I love being a tad short. >: ) Made wrestling easier too.

The 7 yard ranges seem to let taller people shoot easier, but I like a bit longer range.

They have ONE uncovered range, but that is usually in use. Today, it was booked all day.
