Ammo is up 70% on if you buy from them. However, I stopped at Walmart today and picked up 2 value pack .45acp (100 rounds in each box) for $32 each. In 2007 I was paying $28 for the same box from Walmart......which is a 14% increase.

I felt pretty lucky to find the ammo, they only had 2 boxes and I bought both.

The market will take the gougers out - don't worry with 'em or bother to even talk with them IMO.....unless it's to ask 'em to advise you when they have their bankruptcy clearance sale...

"Ammunition Price Increases: The Bad is Getting Worse!!

From 2007 until now there has been over a 70% price increase in Ammunition. The prices increases continue at a staggering rate each month. Think about this: Prices are driven by mainly three factors scarcity and demand and gun-law changes.
We hope you already have the ammunition you need. If not keep an eye out for deals as they are few and far between. At Alamo Ammo we deal with buying and selling ammunition at the best prices available.
At this time most ammunition manufacturing companies are increasing production to attempt to keep up with the customer demand. At Alamo Ammo we can help in finding the best deals and passing the saving on to you "our customers". We believe the personal and home protection is very important and the best weapon is useless without the ammunition to use it."

Then you go and look at the mark up and it is crazy. 100 WWB .380 for $85. What a joke, they won't be around long.
I sold my 380 and bought a springfield 40cal much cheaper ammo.I looked at what others were charging for 380 on the sellers list on this site and found everyone is scalping 380 not just alamo site.Thier 40cal looks pretty cheap$

I'm funny - companies that will create "ghost" accounts to place ads for their products rather than to pony up the sponsorshipt/advertising fees tell me a LOT about their business ethics...

380 ammo is runnin' me about 9 cents/round - $4.50/box. How is that expensive??

Oh.....did I mention I reload?<g,d&rlh>
