First off this site is awesome. I love the fact I can browse firearms and related items for sale in the entire state without having to even leave the house. The ad posting is so simple, pics are clear, ad management is logical and easy to use, and the search feature actually captures the words in the search bar. NICE.

My suggestion is buyer/seller feedback. Most online markets have a feedback system so a prospective buyer can at least review the integrity of the seller. I am selling handgun brass, and have sold some, and I think potential customers would be more likely to consider an "unknown" seller if there were some sort of grading system.

God forbid this wonderful site become like GB or GA. If the feedback system steers it that way, then please forget I ever mentioned it.

I would like to know how to post an add. Everytime I try to register it does nothing, not sign in form, nothing. What gives?

If you have completed the sight registration process and are unsuccessful in accessing the features, email the TGT admin. They can fix anything related to this site. Good luck...

Make sure you email David, admin@texasguntrader.com ... and not me. I have no ability, beyond forwarding the email, to help you with the other site. If you use the "Contact Us" link on this forum it will email me, and I will not be able to help you.

Please email me at admin@texasguntrader.com with you browser version and operating system information.

We'll get you fixed up.

FYI If you are using Safari you won't be able to register. The current version of Safari has some sort of SSL processing problem. Try IE or Firefox.

i think it would be nice to have guns and the like only. Kind of like a gun show. no jewelry,a/c,motor cycles. cars,etc.etc.etc. tatoos, you know what i mean. it is getting like craigs list. i understand you have to pay the bills but,it's getting so you have to weed out the bullshxt to get to the deals. maybe i am just a cry baby.

Angry Tracking Deadbeats

The site is great, but I would suggest a method to identify and track deadbeats, those guys who respond to your ads, agree to a price, make you drive out to meet the somewhere, then don't show up, call, or email! This takes time and money, worse I've cancelled other possible sales because the deadbeat swears he wants to buy it!

My suggestion is that the "Scammers " that have been identified and submitted to TGT be banned from placing ads. There also needs to be a way that the person's identity can be verified before the ad is placed. Sellers claiming to be in Houston or Dallas and who really are in Florida , Louisiana or Ilinois not be allowed on TGT. I discovered several ads for pistols that were too cheap that were placed by the same person who said he was in Florida.I brought this to the attention of TGT and some of the ads are still online. Either TGT won't enforce because the Seller might be with an organization that has initials as their name. I have met several great buyers and sellers on TGT that transactions have been completed with great satisifaction! Thanks Guys!
