Angry How to deal with Reloader "Dirtbags"

As you might imagine I have had to clean up my language quite a bit for this posting. After yet another unsuccessful tip to the shooting supply store (looking for primers) I decided to write this post and vent some frustration. Most people that reload do it for various reasons like getting stable loads or saving costs. There are however a very small number of reloaders taking advantage of the rest of us. They will be referred to as "Dirtbags" from here on out. I am of course referring to the handful of Dirtbags that are buying primers by the thousands, and then trying to sell them on line for 5 - 10 times what they paid for them. People who are trying to take advantage of us during hard times are definitely Dirtbags and border on criminal. I have written to CCI and other primer manufacturers and they have assured me they put on additional staff to try and produce more but to no avail. As long as people but them up 5 and 10 thousand at a time the rest of us are pretty much hosed. I hate to see it, but some of the local shooting supply stores are starting to impose "limits" on the number you can buy. Here is my answer to the problem. DO NOT buy second hand primers on-line. Make the Dirtbags sit on the primers they bought till they rust away to nothing. As long as people give in and pay their outrageous prices they will continue to profiteer off of us. Now I understand this is America and people like to make a profit, but enough is enough. Lets stand together and force these Dirtbags to stop trying to gouge us just because they think they can. Thanks for reading.

This goes hand in hand with all the ammo hoarders. Just hang in there. If you haven't noticed lately that the shelves are starting to get fuller and fuller with ammo and reloading supplies. As for the hoarders, they will make a little profit for now but when the supply catched up to the demand they will either settle for have several lifetimes worth of ammo to look at or sell it at a loss to put food on the table.

Thats what I do with ammo these dirtbags buy all the ammo then sell it for twice the price on TGT I tell as many people I can at the ranges and in on the internet not to buy it just go to academy and walmart and ask them when they are getting some and buy it for the same price the dirtbags did. Better put your flame suit on Texasjoe your about to get flamed by all the free market guys that are probably the ones doing the gouging

Guys I agree with you I hope all these Powder, Bullet and Especially the Primer Horders get Hung with all their wares, I reload because alot of the stuff I shoot I couldn't afford to shoot otherwise, Weatherby's NO Fancy ones, I like to plink with My pistols 9mm and 45's, My Question is why and where are all the primers going along with Certain Powders IMR 4895 case in point all the powders and some bullets are filling the shelves at our ONLY Sporting goods and reloading shop here, but there is no primers, I have had primers on Backorder for 4months at Cabela's ,and I don't intend on canceling , I'm down to about 20 primers for my 257 Weatherby and 300WSM

I'm a free market guy and I am not doing any gouging. However if you don't like what's going on, contact your President. I'm pretty sure he wants to change the fabric of this country to make it unrecognizable as its own entity. So don't worry. If he gets his way, availability won't determine price, Europe will...HAHAHA

Instead of whining, why don't you try to do more positive work towards restoring our 2nd Amendmant rights. Right now we have to practically get on our knees beg permision to the Government and pay an outrageous tax to get a CHL, you can't open carry pistols here in Texas either, and you can't own a Machine Gun without a load of paperwork. End the Prohibition, RTKBA!!!

Bunch of damn crybabies...........I am tired of being nice to these whiners.

Bunch of selfish, spolied crybabies who only have use for free enterprise when it suits THEM.

PS, I don't reload, and I have not purchased ammo since this debacle began. And I have PLENTY. However, if I need it, I'll pay the current market price. No one who is selling it for more than it cost a year ago is taking advantage of me, or are they dirtbags.

+1 I don't reload either but I have bought guns (new & used) plus ammo since the election and have not been gouged one single time. Do your homework, shop around and hey.......if it's cost too much....just don't buy it.

you can say the same about most places that sell ammo...their prices are outrageous!
I just won't support them and buy my ammo at good old walmart.
