Well I did the trade.
Good trade, both parties walked away feeling like they got the better end of the deal.

Just remember that the value of an item is based on what YOU think its value is.

There's LOTS of old listings on there - and here - generally because folks are wanting too much for what they have. You can usually tell which ones they are - they keep gettin' "bumped" for weeks/months on end.

ok here is a question .... (i am bored and in a good mood )
if someone offers a um say 10-22 for $219.00 and another offers one for $319.00
which is the better deal ....
this happened to me once the one for $219.00 was pretty nice but oout of curiosity i wanted to check on the other
now the listings were almost identical word for word.

i contacted he guy with one for $319.00
and asked him if he was willing to come down to the price on the other ad
he said " sure but i will take the leupold off it and keep the aluminum case it is in "

I didn't take another breath before i told him "sold"

so a lot of the time you get extras that bring the high price down to a bargin price.

but that was just what happened to me .

now all i wantto do is fine some one to swap me this 30-06 for some thing and I will be a happy camper !

The value of ANYTHING is always gonna be subjective. When someone's too high, I just go on to the next ad - why bother with it? The nice thing about living in a free country is that you're free to sell your property on your terms....and I'm free to pass on it!

I'm very, very happy with my last purchase on here. A Glock 17, 2nd gen. w/100 rds. of ammo in like new condition. 350 bones. I like TGT, keep this site going! I do get fed up with filtering through all those crazy posts though. I've made 3 buys and 1 sale thanks to TGT.
