I took Hoffner's Tac 1 Pistol class. I liked it very much. The first morning was theory and mind set. First afternoon was shooting, learning basics and technique. Second day was all shooting, building on the basics. Hoffner stresses safety, simplicity, and mental focus.

I took the course when I first began shooting, about 6 months ago. It helped me make rapid progress. I took the course again in January 2009 as a refresher. It helped me correct some sloppiness that had crept into my technique. I recommend the Tac 1 course. I hope I can take the next level Tac 2.

there is a tac pistol 1 on the weekend of april 25/26, hosted in houston, at impact zone i believe. visit hoffner's website for more information, few of the shiloh guys will be attending.
