This is the "bridge" they tried to jump, running southbound, in a Chevy Cruze. It boggles the mind. It truly does.

Around these parts we call that a swing bridge, and not a draw bridge.
A swing bridge just Swings a section out of the way, similar to a door.
A draw bridge, at least, would have given them a ramp at both ends, like Jake and Elwood had when they were on a "mission from God"!
