I'm proud of who I am. If you closed minded people don't like it, I might rage quit. I wouldn't mind a wildcat like an Ackley improved 6.5 CM - but mine just seems to have the cartridges slide right into the chamber. Extraction is a problem. It's inconsistent in pulling out, you really have to be aggressive about pulling the bolt out for full ejection. I'm just saying, that's my gun - yours might be different.

Don't know if overrated is the best classification. But I throw the 8mm Remington Magnum into the discussion.

5.56 NATO.....it's as effective as every other government program.

I love the .223, but it's wimpy. For an intermediate cartridge, give me a 6.5 Grendel, or a 7.62x39.

But this is the OVER rated round thread. And anything 6.5 is definitely over rated

Like seriously, you're getting your ass kicked in ww2, and what's first on the docket? Yeah. Get rid of the ineffective 6.5 arisaka or 6.5 carcano, and get a .30 cal so you can start getting shit done.
