Bending over - spreading - I love 6.5 Creedmoor. .308 is a waste of powder. Not any better in energy transmitted, falls off the face of the earth at 800 yards. Y'all need a 7.5 Swiss to be manly.
Fighting is manly. Bankrolling nazis is not manly

I defy you to give me just ONE example of an animal in North America that this venerable cartridge can't drop.

Damn Robert. Not helping dodge the “6.5 CM is gay” comments with that post.
I'm proud of who I am. If you closed minded people don't like it, I might rage quit. I wouldn't mind a wildcat like an Ackley improved 6.5 CM - but mine just seems to have the cartridges slide right into the chamber. Extraction is a problem. It's inconsistent in pulling out, you really have to be aggressive about pulling the bolt out for full ejection. I'm just saying, that's my gun - yours might be different.

It doesn't hurt as much as a 6.5 shooters shoulder after touching off a real round for once in their pathetic lives

All because they can't calculate a little drop.
Ahh, the venerable .50BMG. But this is about overrated rounds, so we should stick to talking about 30-06.

Drop is no big deal. It’s wind drift that matters.

    Nah
Give me a .50 BMG and I can shoot the chains off of any target. I have video evidence! No way it's underrated.
But this is the OVER rated round thread. And anything 6.5 is definitely over rated

Like seriously, you're getting your ass kicked in ww2, and what's first on the docket? Yeah. Get rid of the ineffective 6.5 arisaka or 6.5 carcano, and get a .30 cal so you can start getting shit done.
