    Need one of our FFL holders here to make this clear.

    Fed Law allows a non-resident to buy a rifle or shotgun in another state from an FFL. It requires the laws of BOTH states to be followed. In this instance, the Colorado FFL failed to follow that law, as Florida prohibits sales to those < 21. This age was changed last year as a result of Parkland.

    Wouldn't this allow it?

    May an unlicensed person acquire a firearm under the GCA in any State?
    Generally, a person may only acquire a firearm within the person’s own State. Exceptions include the acquisition pursuant to a lawful bequest, or an over–the–counter acquisition of a rifle or shotgun from a licensee where the transaction is allowed by the purchaser’s State of residence and the licensee’s State of business. A person may borrow or rent a firearm in any State for temporary use for lawful sporting purposes.

    [18 U.S.C 922(a)(3); 27 CFR 478.29]

    yes, but that is just a summary and not the actual law. Here is the complete section:

    (3)
    any firearm to any person who the licensee knows or has reasonable cause to believe does not reside in (or if the person is a corporation or other business entity, does not maintain a place of business in) the State in which the licensee’s place of business is located, except that this paragraph (A) shall not apply to the sale or delivery of any rifle or shotgun to a resident of a State other than a State in which the licensee’s place of business is located if the transferee meets in person with the transferor to accomplish the transfer, and the sale, delivery, and receipt fully comply with the legal conditions of sale in both such States (and any licensed manufacturer,importer or dealer shall be presumed, for purposes of this subparagraph, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, to have had actual knowledge of the State laws and published ordinances of both States), and (B) shall not apply to the loan or rental of a firearm to any person for temporary use for lawful sporting purposes;

    SP's website & journal is here: https://dissolvedgirl.neocities.org (that's some 90s era HTML, lol)

    Direct link to the much referenced journal: https://dissolvedgirl.neocities.org/journal.html

    My reading of the journal suggests she was very seriously depressed not homicidal. There is very little in the journals that purports the much-reported obsessive connection with A) the Columbine shooting B) the shooters or C) hurting someone other than herself.

    She arrived at DEN, Uber-ed around town, bought a shotgun, Uber-ed out-of-town to Mt. Evans, apparently disrobed and then shot herself, all in about 16 hours or so. And she wasn't cornered by any LEOs at the time of her suicide.

    I'm not a psychologist, but it seems she was infatuated with one of the Columbine killers and went there to be close to where he died. Not too sure she was out to kill anyone but herself. Very troubled young woman though.

    Sad part is no one gave a rats ass about her mental health before this went down, even with all of the signs she was troubled.

    Isn’t surprising considering everyone’s lit to the gills up there.
