Wearing a spare mag or two on the weak side helps me keep my pants from falling - evens the load so they can't slide down on the one side, taking the other side with 'em. I wear the holster at 3:00 and the spare mag at 10:30 or so.

    IWB holsters are torture.

OWB is the way to go unless you're into masochism.....then go for it......

I have three IWB holsters I use on a regular basis. If you wear 'em right - and if they're the right design for your shape- they're comfy. Mine cause me no discomfort at all, though I sometimes need to adjust them when I get in a car.

check out Tucker Gunleather. their Texas Heritage is very comfortable - more so than the composite holsters. their answer is a good composite, and the Deep carry is an interesting modular/convertible design

Whatever works. I carried various .380s around stuffed into the top of my cowboy boots for decades. Poor mans ankle holster.lol. Dawned on me one day it took too long to get to it. So I bought the little NAA .22 to carry in the Shirt pocket. Idea being a round or two from that could make the bad guys duck and cover till I could get to the boot.
I have my grandfather's NAA, he carried that thing daily in his wrangler shirt pocket.

I’ve got a few Kydex holsters.
Out of all of them, I really like Dara.

I don’t think there’s too much difference when comparing Kydex from reputable brands.

    Bonus:
Dara is having a 15% off sale right now with code FLASH15

Comptac are my favorite. They are kydex but I have used leather and they all soak up body sweat and salts. Never personally had the issue effect the guns finish but I have seen instances where it did but that was extreme use over a long time with poor maintenance .

I quit buying galco when they quit having their "open to the public" day. They have good stuff but the markup isnt worth it to me. I guess living a couple minutes from the factory, at the time, spoiled me.
IWB leather soaks up a lot of sweat.

I love a nice matched set of leather for special occasions but hate the inevitable damage you do to it. Probably irrelevant to the discussion here though.

Having tried a few, I've personally landed on a DeSantis Sof-Tuk with my Shield. I have a Comp-Tac MTAC too but its harder to put on and I dont like the belt clips extend down and print outward on my jeans. I plan on cutting them off to see if that helps but the Sof-Tuk simply works well for me. Cheaper too!
