Resized some 7.62x39 into 6.5 Grendels. First time. Didn't go too badly for a virgin. Did exactly what I do for other rifle rounds: Dumped about 100 into a 1 gal ziploc, sprayed liberally with Hornady One Shot, agitated a little, then into the sizing die they went. A little more effort than normal 308 or 5.56, but not as much as I expected.

They grew a teeny bit over saami spec (about 0.002") but when I loaded bullets into 2 test cases, they fed and chambered into my AR just fine... unless someone on here starts yelling "DON"T DO IT!!! TRIM OR YOU'LL DIE" I'm going to load 20 and see how they run. IMG_0826.JPG IMG_0828.JPG IMG_0831.JPG

    Resized/deprimed some hornydad 6 Creedmoor.
Probably leave them lay next range trip.
Almost too easy to reset the shoulder.
I thought hornydad was all the rage but when I started weighing 7-08 I found a lot of variance in their brass. Win and rp both had a lot tighter tolerances. Fc seems to have a wider variance as well. Sometime I'll try some Peterson. I hear they're pretty good.

Short of an early batch of 6 creed 3 or 4 years ago that had intermittent primer pocket issues I typically get 8 or more loadings out of hornady brass.

I can’t stand Hornady. Primer pockets seem to go way to easy.

It’s the brass I use when I know I’ll lose it. Their Hornady Black has been really good in my RPR though. I save the brass for the above mentioned purpose.

I think at this point all I'll have in hornady brass is 22 creed which is all 6mm headstamp stuff. The new gunwerks seems pretty solid and has way more qc than the hornady does.

I cut off the tip of my pointer finger today and had to go get it sewed back on. This is going to put a serious damper on my reloading ability for a while.

I was at work. I wrapped it in a napkin and used electrical tape until I got to urgent care.

We put a couple offers on houses and got 2 accepted. The first one was smaller but had a huge she'd in the back and an AC unit in the garage. We opted for the bigger house with a pool and 2 more rooms because of all the crotch fruits getting older and needing more space... These girls are gonna be the death of me.

I'm making plans for a reloading space with a taller bench and shelving behind it for the garage and I'm gonna try to get a window AC in there to make it bearable in the summer.

Last weekend I finished off all my wolf bullets for my 223 loads. Cleaned, boxed up, and stored in a fat 50 can.

WTF is a she'd. That's short for she did.

A she'd is an auto correct version of a shed. Because apparently my phone doesn't like sheds, ya grammar Nazi!

    I love sheds!

A buddy of mine(in Dallas)has three in his back yard and I'm so jealous! They're like little houses. He's German and is a watchmaker so maybe he does projects out of them.

I used to be on a "shed forum" but it was unbookmarked and has since disappeared but i may try to resurrect it.

Got a spent primer stuck in the BCG cam slot of my AR. Sure ends a range trip quickly. No damage to the rifle but the primer is pretty warped. Used a large screw driver and hammer to 'release' it.
