Burnet Gun Show

There is one coming up this weekend. Has anyone been to prior shows?

The Burnet show was good for me at least. I bought two S&W 3rd Gen magazines at silly low prices. One seller had no idea what it went to, but my eye can pick them out in a crowed. The other seller was an FFL and he told me that he bought out the inventory of a shop that closed. He was selling a bin of various magazines for $20.00 and I found an an ultra rare 3rd Gen magazine.

I also enjoyed looking at all of the guns not available in MA. That included two brand new stripped AR lowers that ironically are made there, but can't be sold there.

Found the same guy and scored a couple sweet $20 mag deals myself.

I kind of wish I had grabbed the other S&W magazines while I was there. They are getting pretty hard to come by.

I think it was good if you wanted to buy magazines....

I didn't make this one but it's usually a decent show given how small it is.

The guns I saw were mostly at the higher end of the price range. One vendor was ranting about no one wanting to buy guns. I didn't engage him in a useless debate and I understand that setting up at a gun show involves expenses that need to be recouped. Still when I see a gun listed at or above MSRP I'm not surprised that buyer interest is low.
