But the Ahlons and Arkens ARE kinda cheap for what you get!

Athlon's upper tier scopes are pretty damn good for the money.
I like the Arken EP5,but I really haven't put it through much yet. I know I won't buy another Arken product, their CS sucks! You can't call them, and they haven't responded to either of the two emails that I've sent them. Plus, you can't use your "Reward" points if they have crap on sale. Not much of a reward if you can't redeem them when you want.
So, I just ordered a Burris XTR II 5-25x50 from EuroOptics on closeout for $569. It should be here tomorrow!

Yes, I am VERY happy with my Cronus BTR.
It sucks to hear that about Arken’s CS. That’s disappointing.
That’s a great deal on the XTR II. I feel Burris usually provides good value for the dollar.

Swampfox has above and beyond CS. I wanted to purchase a sunshade for a Patriot scope I got used and asked the company how to measure it as they offered 2 sizes and I wanted a manual. They got my address and shipped me both sizes of sunshades and a manual, at their expense. I will buy from them for my next optic needs for sure. I think I may need a pistol red dot soon

Hate that Nikon bailed on scopes, but I am still very happy with the ones I own.

22lr rifle- Burris deer rifle scope
Ar15- Sig Romeo7 on the shorty; Nikon Monarch on the 24" bull barrel
Varmint rifle- 224 Valk has a Cabelas Covenant 7 tactical. Maybe the most for the money I've ever bought. Highly recommended.
    Large bore rifle- none
Deer rifle- Nikon Monarch BDC (top 2 clearest scopes I own)
    Long range- Nikon Black2000 tactical
    Target rifle- none
    Night time-Sightmark Wraith infra red
    Vintage scope-ditched them all

I really like primary arms scopes. I use one of their platinum scopes for shooting PRS and it tracks great. Also have used their lower quality scopes and for the price they're great!
