While I have absolutely a positive experience with Howard Leight hearing gear and own several pairs, the one complaint I have is the pads get hard in a relatively short amount of time. I have been replacing the original pads every year (although Howard Leight recommends every 6 months) because they get hard and uncomfortable. The last new replacements must have been setting on the shelf awhile and were pretty hard right out of the package.

I started looking for a different replacement pad and came across these. Mostly positive reviews and only time will tell how well they will hold up. First impression is they are extremely soft and comfortable. Will there be a difference in the sound suppression? I don't know yet. Will they hold up to at least a year of use before degrading?

    Yes, made in......................China..........

I will update this thread in the coming months.

Anyone else with experience with these pads, please comment.

I use the pro series on the left for pistols and the sport series on the right for rifles.
