I can't seem to find anything between a $250 and up Safariland and a $50-80 Amazon no name "universal" that I don't want

What do you have have that you like?
I leaning towards this Blackhawk as I like the retention design on the T series line

I have a couple of the Blackhawk Sherpa L2 (or an older version of it) for at least 7-8 years. Both of mine look like the sportster holster. Went with the Sherpa originally for winter field carry. I use a large length leather belt to go around insulated overalls and set the Holster/firearm to be just beyond hand reach ( probably 1”) which is clear of jacket.
Have a summer version that is set shorter and has a shorter belt.
Both have same expandable mag set-up for 3 calibers (2 rifle and 1 spare pistol).
Both rigs have seen the gamut of ice, snow, rain, dirt, mud , 4 wheelers, UTV’s even dirt bikes and my pistola always stayed where it was supposed to be.
If you want I can send you a picture

Ive run Black Hawks for years and dont have anything negative to say about them. In fact, personally, Ive preferred the Black Hawk firearm fit to Safariland.
