Looking for recommendations for a good peep or aperture sight set for my new "Ruglin" 1894 chambered in .357 magnum.

    Skinner or Ranger Point Precision.
I have tried both, and really prefer the RPP cloverleaf, as the skinner required a very high front sight, although it does have multiple aperture sizes. I use a fiber optic front with the RPP and can keep the hood on. With my old eyes, I can still bang steel at 100 yards, maybe 3-4 MOA, I am sure most folks could do better.

Have Skinner on a 336. Yes it requires a higher front sight. Have them on H&R rifles mostly.
