    Thieves steal from the store.

    Store employee follows the thieves and tells them to stop.

    The thief shoots and kills the store clerk.

    Then he claimed self defense, and a grand jury refused to bring charges.

    WTF?!

    Grand Juries only hear/see evidence presented from the prosecutors office, If they don't want the perp to get billed, they will present in a manner as to result in a no bill.........works the other way too.........The prosecutors are not under oath when presenting to a Grand Jury and can lie with impunity.........

    and I'm sure his peeps (peers) on Grand Jury didn't hurt..........

    The reason there were no charges is because the prosecutors did not want to bring charges as the killing was justified and the greater good was accomplished as the prosecutors and armed robbers/murderers are on the same side.

    Bizarro world, I know, but sadly true.
