    Just now seeing signs.
    It has to be a wet year for them to come up the stream this far.
    It has been wet. We've got water in the creek bed.
    Only spotted a hen so far, but the tracks indicate a decent flock hanging out here.
    I'm giddy.

    We’ve had a hen coming to our feeder regularly. I’m not a turkey hunter though so we just look at the pictures.

    This time of year I wax nostalgic about my midwest turkey woods days. I'd like to bag a nice Merriam's eventually. There's a growing population in the Utah mountains I visit each year. Out of state fees are ridiculous for one turkey but I'll make it happen eventually.
