Just a little update on a few things from a discussion elsewhere.

I have yet to see a real Atlas without the two step collar on the leg adjustments.

The top is the knock off, the bottom the authentic Atlas.

If anybody has a real Atlas without the second notch I am curious to know about it.

My Atlas feet do not fit the knock off legs BTW.
When it is time to bury them it is time to dig them up.

If you have an Atlas and want the multi spike feet, mine do not sit flat. I think this hurts their traction on hard surfaces.

Again, if anybody has a newer model Atlas and doesn't have this issue I would like to hear about it.

When it is time to bury them it is time to dig them up.

I received another Atlas knock off on a rifle in a trade deal. This one is obvious as it isn't black but is actually better quality than the other.

Still without the second notch on the leg adjustment collars though.

This one also doesn't have any markings on it.

When it is time to bury them it is time to dig them up.

But I bought two of these $20 CV Lite Harris-knock-offs and they worked great this weekend.

These are total pieces of shit for anything other than a 22. I should not have bought them. I should have listened to Dawico!

I just wanted to mention that after my last range trip I pulled the GG&G off my Stealth and put the Atlas on it. I installed the big single spike feet also.

The GG&G feet just weren't getting any traction on the bench. I was also having issues getting the tilt to hold tight.

While the GG&G is a good bipod and looked great on my Stealth, it just wasn't cutting it for my needs.

While most rubber feet tend to slip on benches, those big spikes on the Atlas do not.
When it is time to bury them it is time to dig them up.
