Since I'm starting this thread, I want to see if it's possible for me to influence the thread rating. I'm also going to try to ascertain if individual votes can do much to move a thread rating.

Getting interesting results. Will send you a PM asking for help.

ETA - Can't PM you. Your inbox is full.
    I cleared some room.

I randomly hit current threads and none of them show a rating option. Since I've only seen it in the Texas Gun Ranges forum, I randomly selected threads there and still no rating option.

I'm wondering if you have to be a Lifetime Supporter, mod, or admin. but that would severely limit the rating data.

I was just going to ask you to rate this thread "Terrible" to see if one vote changes the rating.

However, it never occurred to me that you might not have that option unless you're a supporter, mod, or admin. That's interesting.

Vaquero has PM'd me that he has no option to rate the thread. I'm wondering who gets the option and who doesn't.

Now this thread has 5 stars, it's GOT to be me! :roflfunny:
Nope. I gave the thread the five stars by rating it. What's odd is that on the other thread, I know I never rated it yet the forum tells me I have done so.

    I am so confused.

And now it's down to 3 stars instead of 5.

Apparently Glockster got it right - only mods, admins, and supporters can see the option to rate threads.

Thanks, guys, for satisfying my curiosity.

I wasn't aware of this new option but I saw it (no option on tapatalk), I rated terrible and looks like it dropped a star. Sorry for the crappy cell picture but couldn't screen shot
