I'm not totally down on Romney. I think he would have probably did better than McCain and possibly won. His upside is business and the economy.

In his defense, when Gov of liberal Mass, he had to be liberal on some issues, like gun control. But when the presidential campaign started he should have read up or got some good advise from smart handlers, to see what the truth is about the 2nd Amendment. He made the totally stupid statement in a debate about being FOR an Assault Weapon Ban. Someone finally clued him in that there is really no such thing.

He is not my No. 1 choice, or 2 or 3. If he could win in 2012 I would support him. But it would be another McCain deal, holding my nose and voting.
