Hey, Dust! Yes, I'm moving away from 30-06 and using .308 as my ranch gun. (Still can't beat that nasty little 6.8SPC as a hog-killer, though). The Savage is a stagger feed and really in nice shape. This is a heckuva deal for someone looking to get ready for dear season. Rifle? Check. Scope? Check. Ammo? Check. Sighted in? Check. Load and shoot!
