Dallas gun show at Market Hall

I was curious to see how the market had changed since the Spring. The traffic was moderate. You could walk right up to any table and inspect anything without anyone having to sidestep anyone. I saw no one buying much of anything except ammo and novelties. The dealer at Bachman Guns (who argueably carried the most sidearms) said sales were down.

If it's not too crowded, I might stop by there tomorrow then. I'm still trying to figure out which commander size 1911 I want.

You might consider the Dan Wesson Bobtail Commander but I didn't see any at the show.

Should be able to get one for under a grand.

Then there is Colt. There were several at the show. Did not check the prices though.

Too much on my plate right now and too little left in my wallet to make this one. I need more ammo, some cleaning supplies and of course, more AR mags.

Have they completed the construction on the Market Street side of the building yet?

I've really been considering that, but sure would like to hold one to see how it feels. Figures they don't have one of those at the show.

STI and PARA are 2 others I've been considering. Did you notice any of those at the show? With STI using shorter than a 4" barrel, I'm still thinking about that option.

I haven't noticed STI at any of the more recent shows. If anyone has STI there this weekend, that'd be reason enough for my to drop what I'm doing and head out.

I specifically looked for STI and didn't see them. Very few HK's and very few Browns and Baers.
