I've lived in Texas all my life, and I cannot understand you. Try to limit the drawl-speak.
Actually, it's pretty easy - it's phonetic....read what you see.
I'll try it in ebonics for Alan ... Don't make me pop a cap in yo ass
I've been stuffing these rounds for years with almost anything we could crimp down tight. Try Herco (Alliant) 2400. I generally use a medium range load from the tables. It burns well, works through the powder drop consistently, and won't blind you with muzzle flash like H-110, and recoil in the 44 mag is more tolerable. Also it's relatively cheap and available.
A RECIPE for you:
3 to 3.5 Grs of Red Dot and your favorite primer with CCI shot capsules. Place 3 #1 buck inside and fill in with #8 or #9 shot for weight. Use a light crimp. Works best in 38 cal barrel. From a 6" Colt Python I can put all three in a garbage can lid at about 150 feet. The 44 bore allows more rotation and they scatter a bit.
Also try air soft bullets the 22 gr white work best. Scatter like hell but a hoot to shoot.
Not trying to sound stupid, but why put buckshot in a pistol round? Just doesn't seem like a great idea.
