East Texas Shooting/IDPA/etc.

Hey everybody,
Im out in the Palestine area and looking for a group to shoot with or where the nearest competitions for IDPA are?

Here is a map of most of the Practical shooting matches in Texas. Looks like the closest IDPA match to you is going to be just NW of Lufkin. I'd also consider giving USPSA a try. I use my same pistol to shoot in both USPSA Production division and SSP in IDPA. They are all great practice.

Golden Triangle Gun Club in Beaumont hosts IDPA shoots every month, I believe.
