Just curious to find out how long it took some of you to receive your chl. I had my paperwork sent back because the instructor forgot to sign one of the forms. anyone have their paperwork returned to them to be corrected and then have to send it back in again? if so, how long did it take for you to receive approval?

Everyone is different. I've seen anywhere from 38 to over 200 days. If you botched your application packet, or if your fingerprints or passport photo aren't good enough, it'll take longer.

My packet was received by DPS on 09/17. I don't expect to see anything from them before 11/15 (assuming my paperwork was in order).

The state wanted me to send in my DD214 since I applied as a veteran for the discount. I had to send off for one and it took about 3 weeks. In spite of the delay, my plastic arrived within 3 months of turning in my packet.

I just took my renewal this week. The instructor had just renewed his Instructors license, and they told him they were still processing 12,000 aps. per month.

Mine was 122 days, my wife 110 I think, we both had paperwork sent back (same mistake, its what I get for copying her lol.) Seems like we were only delayed the length of time it took to send the app back to us, correct and send it back in. I'm hearing people getting them in 60-90 days now

Bummer. I had hoped they might be at least a little caught up by now...
I take my class on the 31st. Guess I shouldn't look for plastic till Christmas or New Years. :(
